WayteQ HD-90CXS decoder for digital terrestrial (DVB-T) and satellite (DVB-S) broadcasting knows everything what a modern DVB-T, DVB-S set-top-box has to know. The Conax card reader (Conax CAS7) of the decoder is able to handle not the free-to-air broadcasting only but the encoded channels too. Due to the built-in CI slot the most type of card readers are useable in the device. With this feature it is possible to watch encoded satellite programs. Recording from the broadcasting is possible just as the media playing, both via the USB connection. The software of the device can be upgraded via the USB connection, too.

On the backside there are HDMI output, Scart connection, component and composit video output, stereo audio output and SPDIF digital audio connection as well.
